·        Normal Print—job goes directly to printer and prints immediately.

·        Secure Print—a password of the user's choice (ie. 1234) is input at the PC, all features are selected as needed and the job is sent to the printer. At the printer, "Job Status" (middle button under console) is selected. Select the job on the screen and choose "release". User will be prompted for the same password that was entered at the PC.

·        Delayed Print—print jobs can be scheduled to print at a specific time.

·        Sample Print—allows a sample set to print, then prompts the user to decide whether to print the full job (again, on Job Status screen at the ColorQube).

Watermark:

Allows user to "stamp" a comment across the page of the document being printed. Selecting "edit" or "new" will take the user to a page that will allow the user to create a new text watermark, or import a bitmap, or time stamp. The user also has the option to choose the font and color of the watermark, as well as the location on the page, and the density of the watermark.

The Advanced tab has options for many advanced features that are rarely changed and most end users do not need to access. One item to note is True Type Font:

Substitute with Device Font. Clicking this option and selecting "true-type font" in the drop-down menu will allow the machine to print unique fonts as the user sees them on the PC screen, even If the font is not loaded in the printer. Essentially, the printer will print the font as an .mage or picture, rather than recognizing it as a font. Example: kindergarten font

Note

Some features are only supported by specific printer configurations, operating systems, or driver types. More features or options may be listed than your specific device supports.
